Palm Cove Wedding Photography | Alamanda Chapel Palm Cove wedding | Douglas + Lucretia
Douglas and Lucretia were married at the Alamanda Chapel in Palm Cove on a glorious Cairns day – summer sunshine beaming down!
They worked a few of their traditional indigenous heritage ceremonies into the wedding day (although toned down somewhat – traditionally, the bride’s family would bang the groom on his head until blood was drawn … whereas today, a small tap sufficed!).
After the ceremony, we went for a wander along Palm Cove beach, doing our best to find little patches of shade and take some refuge from the sunshine. They then headed back into the Hilton for their wedding reception.
It was a super lovely wedding day, which they shared with many of their closest friends and family. Thanks for having me along with you to capture these images!
