Cairns Wedding Photographer
Sunset is one of those times of day that wedding photographers dream of. Soft, golden light streaming in over the fields (or beach) – that warm hazy glow… yes please!
If you’re getting married in Cairns – you have the added bonus of sunset NOT being at like 8.45pm – which was the case here in Auckland when I shot Dan & Eliza’s wedding a week ago.
Their day kicked off with a beautiful “first look” moment in the garden. If you haven’t considered doing a first look and your photos prior to the ceremony, I totally recommend it! There are so many positive elements to doing things this way around – in fact, I’m in the process of writing an entire blog article about it at the moment.
We then headed into a nearby forest for a few creative location images, followed up with some beach shots. And – because the photos were all done & dusted before the ceremony took place, then boom – so much more time afterwards to chill & hang with the guests.
We wrapped up the day with a gorgeous sunset – epic!
Over the period of May > September I’ll be in Cairns / Port Douglas area – so if you’re looking for a Cairns wedding photographer who’s keen to shoot more of this lovely sunsetty (yes, that’s a word) goodness… then we should chat!
But without further ado – here’s a little preview of Daniel & Eliza’s stunning wedding day – enjoy 🙂
