Kaban Heights by the Pines wedding venue  | Rustic country wedding venue | Tablelands wedding photos

If you’re looking for a rustic, country wedding venue on the Tablelands – you definitely need to check out Kaban Heights by the Pines!

Tucked away in the most beautiful, sweeping landscape – it’s about a 30 minute drive from Atherton, and has everything you need.

Space for your guests to set up their caravans & campers? Check.
Amazing custom built ceremony area (and bonus wet weather covered option too) – Check.
Stunning pine forest grove (that was actually planted by the owners family many years ago) – check.
Epic indoor barn style reception space, with plenty of dancefloor ? Check.

Sara and Brendan were one of the first couples to get married here, and I was super excited to check it out.

You have access to the entire property for photo locations – and it’s HUGE. There were about 50 possible spots in my head that I scoped out while being shown around the land earlier on the day … and there was just never going to be time to visit them all. Having too many options is definitely the best kind of problem to have though!

As it turned out – we were shooting in the field with some friendly horses coming up to say hello … when we turned around to see the sky had gone dark, with black storm clouds, and an incredible rainbow arching over the sky. It was truly special – and made for some epic shots.

Later in the evening, we set up a cool romantic night shot in the pine grove – a couple of lights and a bit of moody smoke in the background … magic ✨
