Yungaburra Chapel wedding photos | Tablelands wedding photography | Cairns wedding photographers
Rachel & Jayden were married in the stunning Yungaburra Chapel – a newly created wedding venue on the Tablelands that offers both a ceremony and reception location.
The chapel is super cute – with a white picket fence out front, and plenty of space inside for guests.
Out the back, there is a marquee style reception option – where Rachel and Jayden partied the night away with their friends and family.
They each got ready at separate AirBnB properties on the lakefront in Yungaburra – and one of the highlights was seeing Rachel’s stunning wedding dress for the first time! Rachel’s veil was handmade by her 86 year old Nonna – complete with a full 25 metres of tulle! It really was an incredible statement piece – and looked incredible.
After being together for over 18 years, with two gorgeous children, everyone was so happy to finally celebrate their wedding day. Once the ceremony was finished, we headed down the road for a few photos nearby in the golden afternoon sunlight – Yungaburra chapel is really close to some incredible photography locations, and the golden hour on the Tablelands is always a special treat for a wedding photographer.
As the evening chill settled in, plenty of warm heaters and some incredible BBQ dinner kept us all warm on the inside & out. It was an amazing day, and I’m stoked I was able to be there to capture these images. Here’s a little sneak peek of the photos – enjoy!
