We first met Mel & Aaron about a year ago, when we did an engagement shoot with them (Check it out here!). Hanging out for that afternoon, it already felt like they were mates – not clients.
It was exciting to see their wedding plans developing – and before we knew it, the day had arrived!
Being suckers for punishment, during the process of wedding planning Mel & Aaron were also building their own house – which is getting close to the finishing stages now. Those of you that have planned a wedding will know, this is a pretty epic achievement – doing these two things side by side, along with your regular jobs!

After their ceremony at the Colonial Club in Cairns, they were thoroughly showered in confetti on the way back up the aisle (is there even such a thing as too much confetti?? We don’t think so!) – and then we headed out for a few photos nearby.

We were lucky to score the most lovely golden sunlight pouring through the trees – Cairns really is a stunning place to get married!

Back at the Colonial Club, we partied the night away – the dancefloor was pumping and everyone had an amazing time – as you’ll see when you scroll down to the end of this sneak preview.
