Roxann & Corey were married on one of the most stunning days you could ever wish for.

In fact – being a keen fisherman – Corey probably would have preferred to have more wind on the wedding day and save the perfect, calm, flat conditions for being on the ocean, haha!

In the morning, the boys were tasked with the job of putting together the wedding arch on the beach – nothing a bit of DIY attitude, some power tools, and some rope couldn’t deal with! They chose Ellis Beach, just north of Palm Cove, as the scene for their wedding – it’s one of our favourite beaches in this area.

Meanwhile, hair & makeup was well underway around at the girls – Roxann and her bridesmaids were joined by Roxann & Corey’s two daughters – who had their own ‘junior bridesmaid’ dresses as well.

The ceremony on the beach featured the whole family – with the girls giving their own vows to Mum & Dad (including ‘we promise to keep our room tidy’ haha!!) – and they also planted an avocado tree, with soil taken from various special locations that were significant to Roxann & Corey. These soils all blended together and this tree will grow up back at their house. It was a really beautiful addition to the wedding ceremony.

Afterwards, we headed off for a few photos around the beach, before heading back to the Ellis Beach Bar & Grill, which has the cutest outdoor function venue. There they partied the night away – a photobooth provided some opportunities for people to get crazy, the kids played games of pool and lipsynced into ice cream cones … it was a super fun, energetic evening.
