There’s no cooler experience as a wedding photographer than being able to photograph a friends wedding.

Amy and Therese have been friends for years – so we’ve gotten to know Therese and Chris well. They’re a hilarious couple, always up for a laugh and some good times.

Amy was in the bridal party this time – so instead of lugging a camera bag and photographing with me for the day, she was sporting a lovely up-do & a bridesmaid dress!!

After having their ceremony at St. Patricks Catholic church in Yungaburra, we headed down to Lake Tinaroo for some photos with the bridal party, wrapping up with the most incredible golden light / sunset streaming across the Tinaroo fields.

The reception at Lake Tinaroo Resort was awesome – one of the perks of being a friend-ographer is being able to let your hair down (figuratively in my own case) at the end of the night & have a few drinks and a dance. We all stayed onsite at the resort too, making it super easy to just wander back to our rooms at the end of the evening.

Thanks so much Chris & Therese for having me along to capture some images on the day – and for being such great friends. Looking forward to many more hangtimes in the future!
