Palm Cove wedding photographer – Kim + Mike

Palm Cove wedding photographer | Cairns wedding photographer | Port Douglas wedding photos

Last Friday I had the privilege of shooting Kim & Mike’s epic wedding day at Mahurangi – near Auckland.

These guys summed up the concept of doing your wedding, YOUR way.
There were no traditions in there just to ‘tick the box’ – instead, every single moment of the day was perfectly suited to them.

Quote from Kim at the reception … “so we’re not going to do a cake cutting or anything like that… but there IS cake on the dessert table.. because I like cake… so someone should cut it and get into it”. Perfect!

During the reception we sneaked them outside for some golden light … I TOTALLY recommend doing this, even just for a break from the whirlwind of the reception and stealing a quick moment just for yourselves as a couple. Plus – epic light… epic photos 🙂

So in case you hadn’t noticed, this wedding isn’t actually in Palm Cove… nor even in Australia!
But from May > end of August 2017 I’ll be based in Cairns and taking bookings for Cairns weddings, Port Douglas, – basically anywhere in Far North QLD.

So if you or someone you know is looking for a Palm Cove wedding photographer – drop me a line & we can chat.

Enjoy this little sneak peek of Kim + Mike’s wedding day!
