Peppers Palm Cove wedding photos | Palm Cove wedding photographer | Cairns wedding photography

Rebecca & Chris traveled up from the Sunshine Coast to beautiful Palm Cove for their wedding at the Alamanda Chapel, and reception at Peppers Resort.

When we initially caught up for our pre-wedding chat, both Rebecca & Chris were super keen on having plenty of gorgeous location photos, and they said they were totally happy to venture a little further afield and come adventuring with me!

Palm Cove has a tendency to get quite windy in the afternoons, but on rare days the sea breeze stays away and it’s still and calm. This was one of those lucky days – hardly any wind, beautiful sunny weather – everything you want in a tropical destination wedding.

After their ceremony and some group photos, I headed away with just Rebecca & Chris for a few photos around the corner at Ellis Beach – I love the swishy grass and Australian bush backdrops, especially at this time of year when everything is nice and dry – such stunning colour tones.

We arrived back at Peppers just in time to grab a few sunset photos on the beach as the light faded, and then it was time to head in for their poolside wedding reception. A lovely meal, some heartfelt speeches, and – of course – cake!!
