Brett & Eugene were married at the Pullman Port Douglas. With many people flying in from around the world, and traveling up interstate from all over Australia – it really was a destination wedding!

Despite some rainy weather earlier in the week, the day was gorgeous and blue – with plenty of sunshine streaming down through the trees.

They faced a bit of last minute stress, as they had ordered a bunch of things from overseas for their decorations and styling. Thanks to the remote location of Port Douglas, this delivery arrived a bit later than expected … the night before the wedding! So there was definitely a big last minute push to get everything done – and it all came together perfectly.

Their ceremony was held on the rainforest walk because the combination of high tides and strong wind meant the beach would have been a bit tricky. Inside the shelter of the trees it was lovely and calm – perfect for their guests to watch on as they exchanged their personal vows to each other.
