Alex & Aaron were married at the stunning private property – Sapphire Ridge – on the hilltops of Palm Cove.

This was my first wedding photographing at Sapphire Ridge, and I wasn’t disappointed! It’s a beautiful venue, nestled amongst a lush bush backdrop overlooking the ocean of Palm Cove. There are many levels of decks where you can hold the ceremony, have speeches, or turn into a dancefloor.

There were around 30 guests, which was a perfect amount for the space – it didn’t feel cramped or crowded at all, and Bec from Dragonfly Weddings kept everything running smoothly like clockwork.

After their beautiful ceremony on the lower deck, we headed down to Palm Cove beach for a few photos with the bridal party. It’s such an iconic FNQ wedding photo location, amongst the coconut trees in front of NuNu restaurant.

As the sun set and darkness started to settle over Palm Cove, we headed back for some speeches and dancing on the top level deck. With festoon lighting draped amongst the trees, it looked absolutely magical.
