Natalie and Grant spent the days leading up to their wedding checking the weather forecast, hoping that the rain would clear up.
Even on the morning of the wedding, plenty of heavy showers blew their way through – meaning the stress didn’t let up quite yet.

Luckily though, the ceremony and rest of the afternoon was lovely – dry weather for the guests to stroll back from the ceremony at Alamanda Chapel to the reception at the Pullman Sea Temple.

In fact, the only little bit of rain that did come through was during our creative shoot, where we had 5 minutes of super heavy, intense rain. Lucky I’d already grabbed the umbrellas from the car, so we managed to keep dry … and even score an epic rain photo at the same time!

I’m sure that – with many of the guests up from Sydney – the warm weather was a welcome change, rain or not. It’s such a cool occasion having a ‘destination wedding’ – as it often means the celebrations merge over a few days, with multiple chances to catch up and enjoy spending time together.

Many of the guests had children, so back at the Pullman the kids club was in full swing – so cool to have a dedicated room & staff to ensure that all the little ones are having an awesome night too.
