Libby & Mathew traveled up from NSW for their tropical wedding day 🙂

They met through the horse racing industry – something that they are still heavily involved with. So much so – that on the wedding day, one of the horses that Mathew rides daily was running in a race called the ‘Golden Slipper’ … so midway through the photo location shoot we paused to watch this race on the iphone!

They both got ready at the Ramada resort, and then were married in the gorgeous seaside chapel – St Marys By The Sea.

After a few photos nearby in Rex Smeal park and down near the rocks, we headed over to the Tin Shed, where the reception was upstairs.
It was my first time shooting in the Tin Shed (in fact, I didn’t even realize where it was until Amy pointed it out to me!) – and it was a great little spot. Everyone was pretty stoked to have a room with air conditioning after a hot, humid tropical afternoon.

Late in the evening, a band of rain moved in across the skies – it was like somebody was painting grey lines over the landscape, just completely erasing the view before your eyes. Super cool to watch!
