Yesterday we were lucky enough to be involved in capturing a pretty special wedding.

Amy has been friends with Mel for years, and I was stoked when Mel & Andrew said they’d love to have us along to capture their wedding day.

We scored some lucky overcast weather, giving us lovely soft light & some much needed relief from the sun on the wharf for the ceremony!

Afterwards, we headed out for a few photos around Port Douglas, before joining the guests back at the Sugar Wharf to party the night away.

It was totally a family affair, with their gorgeous kids featuring through the day – and cool things like face painting arranged for the children at the wedding.

We even managed to score a beautiful sunset – and at the end of the night, a few drops of rain started to fall… check out the final image, that’s in the rain!
